A piece of ivory parchment bearing a few lines of slanting copperplate script is tacked to the center of the message board outside Moot Hall.

Late Feastday evening, I announced my decision for filling the position of Town Marshal in Thrayzar’s extended absence. That choice is Thadston Andrews, whom I feel has the right combination of experience at arms, intelligence-gathering capabilities, knowledge of other languages, and personal will to fit the role well.

All three candidates presented persuasive arguments, and their willingness to work for the town’s benefit is not forgotten. Khylon Oakspear and Kilron have other purposes to fulfill, if they remain eager to serve.
