I would like to get confirmation before purchasing any certs that might not actually work.

Will certificates for Greater flares and/or TD bonus be usable on weighted/padded items? The ‘some items may be ineligible due to current properties’ piece is just vague enough to give me pause.

If you’re talking about Greater Elemental Certificates, that is a script. TD Bonus is something else entirely and uses the slot previously used by weighting/padding.

Weighting: weighting slot
Padding: padding slot
Greater Elemental: script slot
TD: property slot
Flares: property slot

Flares and TD use the same slot, and since the Greater Elemental script uses both the script slot AND the property slot (for a flare), it wouldn’t work to add TD on that one. I know that wasn’t your question, but figured I’d add that for clarity’s sake.

Greater elemental certificate, is it just the script portion or both the flare and script?

Greater Elemental script requires that the weapon be flared. In order to have flares, it takes up that property slot. So, script + property slot are taken up if you have the Greater Elemental script on your weapon.

Is fusion the property slot also? IE no fusion+TD?

Fusion is a script, so, if you can get someone to do it, TD could be put on with it. That’s one of those that is going to be difficult to get a GM to work with, currently.

You slam your mithril spikestar into the slowly descending meteor!
A large piece of the meteor shatters, exposing an opening!
