She clutches a chair to keep upright.
Cries can be heard echoing throughout the city below.
“What was that?”
“Earthquake?”“Are the creatures returning?”
“I think Heartfire fell over and shook the city.”
She pulls a robe over her shoulders and calls out, “Gasen! Gather the reports and bring them to me.”
