The blade of your black steel no-dachi pulses with a white light that consumes the blackened flames surrounding its length. Particles of rust swirl around the no-dachi before returning it to its dull, rusted state.

FIRST RELEASE
Flecks of rusted steel fall from your broken no-dachi as you draw it in front of your body. Switching your grip to both hands, black veins appear down the length of the no-dachi as the remaining rust particles scatter. Suddenly, the blade flares with a void of black energy, doubling its length and size.

In a pulse of blackened light, your black steel no-dachi doubles in length and size as you swing at a lesser minotaur!

SECOND RELEASE
You start to swing your black steel no-dachi high overhead as black motes of light follow the blade. Suddenly, mid-swing, a void of white light pulses in the center of a black orb forming near the tip of the blade. Thrusting your black steel no-dachi upward, the blade is engulfed in black and white flames.

A faint voice in your mind says, “The weapon you hold is not my true form, Kaight. Rather, it is a mask, a facade which only you can unlock through my trust.”
A faint voice in your mind says, “On your command, I can shed this farce and reveal my inner self, your inner self, and unleash my true power. Our power. This will cost you a bit of your spirit, which must flow through me.”
A faint voice in your mind says, “To do so, you must direct your voice toward me, and clearly address me. Tell me to fortify, and my true form shall shine forth.”
A faint voice in your mind says, “Remember, Kaight, these words, and speak them to me: “Fortify, Pelenae Epeloine.” Speak thus to me, and I shall answer your call…”

A faint voice in your mind says, “I sense you’ve advanced farther yet, Kaight, though you’ve still a ways to go. Listen now, and I shall show you something truly special…”
A faint voice in your mind says, “You’ve no doubt noticed that at times while you battle your enemies, I can empower your attacks and lend you my strength. You may call upon this ability at any time hereafter by merely waving me at a target.”
A faint voice in your mind says, “Note that this ability may not always have the same effectiveness, particularly when used against targets of significantly more skill than you, and also that using this ability will require you to spend a bit of your spirit.”
A faint voice in your mind says, “Remember…”

A faint voice in your mind says, “As your strength grows, so do I, a reflection of your immortal soul, and through me, you can wield power both great and terrible. Perhaps it is time for you to learn, Kaight…”
A faint voice in your mind says, “Recall when I spoke to you, Kaight, and told you of how to release my true self to grant you power. There is yet another release you may command of me…”
A faint voice in your mind says, “With a word, I can infuse you with strength of actions to allow you to strike harder and with more power for one minute.”
A faint voice in your mind says, “This power will cost you a bit more spirit than usual, and I can only produce such an effect two times in a single day, so call upon it with this in mind.”
A faint voice in your mind says, “To release me to this, my final release, all you must do is direct your voice toward me and tell me to cauterize. Remember, Kaight, this word, and speak it to me: “Cauterize.” Speak thus to me, and I shall answer thy call…”

A faint voice in your mind says, “When this power is called upon, by a mere WAVE of me through the air, I lend you my power of strength and will increase your attack strength and lend to your ability to strike critically even more.”
A faint voice in your mind says, “Calling upon this ability will cost a bit more spirit than usual, and it also requires me to be fully released to function. It will only let you swing hard and true for sixty seconds.”

You hoist your black steel no-dachi high overhead as the black and white flames surrounding its length consume it. Pulses of white and black light emit from the center of the black steel no-dachi as several flame-based clones rapidly create a ring above and around you. Splaying your fingers, you thrust them outward sending the clones flying in all directions!
A wave of burning, black and white no-dachis moves outward from you.
A moulis is buffeted by the waves of burning no-dachis and is knocked to the ground.
… 5 points of damage!
Minor puncture to the abdomen.
Roundtime: 3 sec.
Definitely going to have to amass some max spirit enhancives to utilize the second release and special ability.
