Auchand post – Heads Up For Some Unusual Cloud Formations in Solhaven

The Associated Cloudwatchers of Vornavis forecast an unexpectedly unusual cloud formation near Solhaven tonight at 7pm (Eastern). It’s supposed to be a sight to remember… GM Auchand did not say whether to bring looking glasses or weapons, though. Just saying
Subj: Unusual Weather Phenomenon Expected Near Solhaven
The Associated Cloudwatchers of Vornavis, a citizens’ hobby group dedicated to predicting and cataloging unusual weather patterns, cordially invites one and all to witness a rare cumulus cloud formation off of Solhaven Bay. The clouds are expected to be puffy and white, or maybe grey. Members of the society believe the not-too-rare-but-still-slightly-uncommon atmospheric event will occur around 7:00 in the evening by the Elven Standard on this evening, Volnes the 8th of Phoenatos.
It’s sure to be a sight to remember!

I’m of the mind that a lobsternado would be one of the more tame phenomenon that Solhaven has encountered.
Those days seem to be long past though, given how things have been in town lately.
At any rate, it’ll be interesting to see how sideways something as simple as cloud-watching might go, so what the hell. Count me in.

I’ll echo the happy thoughts. It was nice having something happen in town, and having the promise of at least another evening of stuff. And at an hour that didn’t cripple us east coasters, for once. Been far too long since we’ve had any of that.

And, since this appears to be leading to where I think it is, this is going to be HUUUUUGE.
Last night was great fun for much of the extended business! It was great to have cameos from longtime NPCs and a bit of closure on some random things, and of course, Tseleth is the ‘rank evil horrible Luukosian archlich everyone loves to hate despite the fact that from a literary standpoint he’s not that bad of a guy’ we all want to fisticuff with for past wrongs.
Also our sneak peek at exploring the Sea of Fire was hilarious fun as well. As always, this is is quality Circa 2008 Auchand stuff going on, and it’s been missed.
Though uh I hope no one else forgot that Baron Spensor Caulfield is currently visiting Vornavis. And probably pissed about his daughter.

Echoing the ‘yay stuff happening at a reasonable hour’ sentiment. It was nice to see something happening in Solhaven that was more engaging than a local seagull crapping on a random townsperson. (I wish I was making that last part up.)

I’ll just add my “yay stuff” to the crowd. I got to participate in something! I loved the hour it was done. I’m in Atlantic Standard time so most is waaaayyyy past when I could possibly participate or enjoy. This was refreshing and fun to old bad guys again…even if I had to ask “Who is that” a few times. Divone would definitely remember these people. I, however, don’t have that sparkling a memory.
