In 90 minutes, I will be presenting at Simucon 2025 as part of this year’s Worlds Announcement panel. For this, I will be going over the last year of my work done in and around the town of Kraken’s Fall. I also will be announcing a new release for our town: Charl’s Spire.

Charl’s Spire represents the culmination of a significant effort involving multiple members of our GM staff. I am especially grateful to GMs Thandiwe, Elysani, Ethereal, Flannihan, and Haxus for their inspiration and work in helping this project come to fruition.

Charl’s devotees have been busy. Driven by a deep love of the sea and its unquestioned Lord, and with funds and administrative support from noted Charl-atan Gentleman Hoorne, they have built a truly in-spire-ing addition to Kraken’s Fall: a home for worship and spirtual betterment centering on all things Charl.

Located across from Lady Niima’s faithful home, the Peaceful Porpoise, adventurers may proceed over the driftwood walkway in 7118218, located on Kraken’s Fall’s western beach bluffs. If they do, they will find the Way of Seas and a distant, rising spire.

What secrets await on this rocky islet? How will Charl respond to devotees and well-wishers alike coming to prostrate themselves before his might and magnificence? Only time will tell.
