ANNOUNCEMENT: An email came in from billing announcing that Washintgon State-mandated sales tax will be added to all Simutronics purchases for all Washington residents. All the details are in your mail, and this only applies to accounts with billing addresses in WA. If you don’t see it in your mail, here’s the text of the letter that was sent out:

At Simutronics, we are dedicated to delivering the best quality products and experiences for our customers. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we are committed to maintaining transparency in all aspects of our business operations.

We’re reaching out to inform you about an update regarding sales tax requirements for our Washington State customers. Since January 1, 2020, Washington State has required businesses like Simutronics to collect and remit sales tax for online transactions.

Starting January 1, 2025, we will begin charging a 6.5% sales tax on all subscription transactions and SimuCoin store purchases for customers residing in Washington State. This change ensures compliance with state tax laws and enables us to continue providing the high-quality products and services you’ve come to expect from us.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The 6.5% sales tax will be automatically applied at checkout for customers with a billing address in Washington State.
  • This tax is remitted directly to the state and does not reflect an increase in pricing by Simutronics.

If you have any questions about this change or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team.

Thank you for your continued support and trust in Simutronics. We look forward to continuing to serve you.

Sincerely,
The Simutronics Team
