The dev team is excited to announce that the first ascension elite ability will be released early next week!

Transcend Destiny is a passive ability that increases a character’s effective level in many combat equations. Transcend Destiny affects the following combat equations:
Ambush Damage – Offense and Defense – Up to 5 Ranks
Automatic Success of Certain Spells
Casting Strength
Evade, Block, and Parry – Offense and Defense
Force on Force
Hiding – Rogues Only
Sheer Fear Resistance
SMR – Offense and Defense
SSR – Offense and Defense
Target Defense
Two-Weapon Combat
UCS – Tier Up Probability

Note that Transcend Destiny will not factor into all level-based formulas, and is not intended to do so. If you feel that an important formula has been missed, please let us know and we will consider it!

Lastly, elite ascension skills are intended to be costly and have a high barrier to entry. Transcend Destiny has a pre-requisite of 150 ATPs spent in the common tier of ascension, and costs the following for the first five ranks: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. The subsequent five ranks cost 50 ATPs per rank. Transcend Destiny has a max number of 10 ranks, and a capped character with 10 ranks of Transcend Destiny will have an effective level of 110.
