STORYLINE-WL: Saturday Night in the Landing: During the KST Story time, Ashes to Ashes, Mayor Thadston gathers everyone to announce Pukk as the new Town Councilor. There’s praises aplenty for the defense work during the Friday Night attack by Tyrrax and his Krolvin fleet, (you know, except for that whole Xorus kidnapping thing) and the Landing Defenders begin to plan for even better strategies next time.

Summary

Mayor Thadston gathers everyone and announces that the Landing’s newest Councilor is Pukk, with 32 votes over Sairai’s 30, Vaemyr’s 14, and Pals’ 3! Next, Thadston commends the Knuckleheads, Pookia and Sevanya, for expert work with the mobile ballista towers against the krolvin invasion.

Afterward, Thadston praises everyone for turning the krolvin back and inquires what happened with Xorus. He says the halfling mentalist tried to extract information, but after discovering that it was an exercise in futility as he has magical guards on his mind, they went back to Tyrrax to determine a different approach. Furthermore, he does not know where Praxopius’ formula is and does not believe he intended on sending it.

With Tyrrax’s fleet sure to return and little to go on for finding the formula, town defenders develop contingency plans and ultimately settle on a two-pronged approach: exploring options to prevent the krolvin portals or lure them to specific areas to fight to our best advantage while creating magical wedges to stop them from closing, and using Lylia or someone else as bait with a trap implanted in their mind that will disable the krolvin’s captive halfling woman, Kharusa, when she tries to probe them for information.
