The votes have all been received and tallied, and we have a winner. Before we get to that detail, I do want to take a moment to thank all the people who took time to create a design for the contest. We received many quality designs, and they gave us many worthy designs for the citizenship pin. And thanks as well to all those who voted and lent their voice to which design they wanted. I know it was not an easy decision given the designs, and it is my hope that

The winning entry will be eligible to select two of the following services, while the runner up can select one: Lightening, Deepening, General Alteration, or Feature Alteration. I will reach out to the winners to see about arranging some times to redeem their hard earned prizes.

And without further ado, here are our winners:

Runner Up: Zodiark – a sea glass kraken pin

Winning Design: Requiell – a gem-encrusted crashing wave pin

This round pin encompasses the curl of a crashing wave frozen just before landing ashore. Tiny bits of the deepest blue mermaid’s-tear sapphires make up the body of the wave. Crushed blue ridge and cat’s-paw coral define the whitecap, cleverly giving the swell the illusion of movement. Sand mixed with grains of honey beryl glitter across the bottom of the brooch, scattered with slivers of lustrous mother-of-pearl.

You tap your crashing wave pin. The scent of the sea air and the cry of seabirds calls you home.

Lydil taps his crashing wave pin. The keen cry of seabirds can be heard, followed by a spray of briny sea air.

In the very near future Duvernith will make some rounds to distribute pins to any Solhaven citizens that can attend. And fret not, as Duvernith will make subsequent visits to help ensure anyone who wants one has the chance to get one. Thanks again to everyone who participated in this contest, and here’s to seeing you all around the Free Port.
